#1: BOOKING INQUIRY 📋
This will help me know more about your story!
If I think we'd make a great writer-editor duo, I'll reach out to you so we can talk more about your manuscript! If you asked for a free sample critique, I will also return your submitted sample with in-line comments.
I want to help you as much as I can, so I may decline to accept you as a client if I don't believe I'll be able to provide substantial feedback or if I'm not your target audience.
If I think a different editor may be better suited for your work, I'll let you know so you can proceed to the next step of your publishing journey!
#2: AGREEMENTS 🤝
To ensure a smooth collaboration, you will be asked to agree to our CONTRACT to protect us both. This includes a clause that I will NOT enter your manuscript into any AI database such as ChatGPT.
An INVOICE for 50% of the total payment will also be sent, and another for the remaining 50% will be sent upon completion.
What do you need on your BOOKING DATE?
Agreement to contract. Link will be provided.
Email proof of payment for the nonrefundable 50% deposit. To secure your slot and for recordkeeping!
What do you need by your START DATE?
Send manuscript by email. Please submit it as a Microsoft Word file and formatted as 12pt, Times New Roman, double-spaced, and left-aligned. The first line of each paragraph should also be indented by 0.5 inch.
Send 5 questions about your manuscript by email. This ensures that I can provide the exact feedback you're looking for!
#3: FOLLOW-UP QUESTIONS 💬
An invoice for the remaining 50% balance and the last fifteen pages with in-line comments will be sent to you. Please email proof of payment for recordkeeping.
Your entire manuscript will be returned with in-line comments using MS Word. You will also receive a document (.pdf) with answers to your submitted questions.
