#1: BOOKING INQUIRY 📋
This will help me know more about your story!
If I think we'd make a great writer-editor duo, I'll reach out to you so we can talk more about your manuscript! If you asked for a free sample critique or edit, I will also return your submitted sample with in-line comments and track changes.
I want to help you as much as I can, so I may decline to accept you as a client if I don't believe I'll be able to provide substantial feedback or if I'm not your target audience.
If I think a different editor may be better suited for your work, I'll let you know so you can proceed to the next step of your publishing journey!
#3: AGREEMENTS 🤝
To ensure a smooth collaboration, you will be asked to agree to our contract to protect us both. This includes a clause that I will NOT enter your manuscript into any AI database such as ChatGPT.
An invoice for 50% of the total payment will also be sent, and another for the remaining 50% will be sent 1 week before our start date.
What do you need on your BOOKING DATE?
Agreement to contract. Link will be provided.
Email proof of payment for the nonrefundable 50% deposit. To secure your slot and for recordkeeping!
What do you need by your START DATE?
Send manuscript by email. Please submit it as a Microsoft Word file and formatted as 12pt, Times New Roman, double-spaced, and left-aligned. The first line of each paragraph should also be indented by 0.5 inch.
Email proof of payment for the remaining 50% balance. For recordkeeping!
#4: REVISIONS, 1 ROUND 💻

I offer a free sample edit of 1,000 words to help you decide if we're a good fit!
This step is not required, but this can be helpful if you're still deciding between editors.
Your manuscript will be returned to you with edits using MS Word Track Changes.
For up to 14 days, please accept or reject the changes I recommend.
You can also do minor revisions in response to my comments (for example, I advise you to add a phrase or sentence to add clarity) using the Track Changes feature. This allows me to see the changes you made so that I can give them an editing pass!
Please note that only the recommended minor revisions will be reviewed. This does not serve as another editing pass of the entire manuscript.
You will then return the MS Word file to me, and I will review the minor revisions you made with Track Changes.
In 3 days, you will receive the final copy of your edited manuscript!
